Position Summary and Purpose: Deliver annual sales plan for elevator category, including thru-floor elevators. Create strategic sales plan for category with dealer targets, action items and KPI’s. Individual will own the unit sales and target average sell price for category, work closely and in conjunction with SAM-Dealer, National Sales Manager, Field Sales Executives, and Inside Sales Representatives on daily work of sales plan achievement. Will also work closely and regularly with internal departments critical to success, most notably training, product management, marketing, technical service, and customer relations.

SAM-Elevator will be an expert on elevator category, including thru-floor elevators. This includes expertise on dealer sales approach in local market, product value and differentiation, competitors, applications, codes, installation, and general troubleshooting. SAM-Elevator must be proficient in dealer training as will be critical to category success and be a constant requirement. SAM-Elevator will need to be creative in approach to marketplace, understand best dealer profile and capability for mutual success for dealer and Bruno. First twelve months travel up to 75%, then up to 50% travel.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in related field, plus a minimum of 10 years sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Be a critical member of team, charged with delivery of elevator sales plan.
  • Attend team meetings, company-scheduled training, trade shows and customer events as requested. Facilitate and coordinate sales training either at customer’s location or via online training platforms on elevator products with key accounts. Be effective and comfortable presenting to large internal and external customer groups.
  • Identify new sales opportunities with the ability to build a plan and execute critical tactics. Build and manage effective channel partner relationships.
  • Adept at initiating and conducting critical conversations with internal and external customers. Ability to work effectively and build positive, results-focused relationships with other internal departments.
  • Ability to successfully negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes for company and customer.
  • Utilize internal training opportunities to maintain familiarity with company products, product applications, prices, CRM and sales policies.
  • Effective in utilizing technology to drive efficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account and contact information regularly. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to easily connect and network with all types of customers and demographic groups.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Home Office or Oconomowoc, WI
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, and touch; and talk, hear and move around.
  • Up to 50% travel is required (first twelve months up to 75% travel)- valid driver’s license required.
